Cryptic, of course. From four to eight solvers meet to do battle. We usually 'warm up' with the JEP and then move on to more difficult puzzles from a variety of newspapers, magazines or even the internet. We usually complete four or five puzzles in the the 90 minutes we allow ourselves. All accompanied by friendly chatter and, of course, tea and biscuits.
