We are a small, friendly group of mixed ability, mainly working in watercolours or pastels, although the convener is fairly proficient in oil painting as well. She is not a trained teacher but is happy to give advice. Beginners are welcome, and there is no pressure on anyone! Most of us work on topics of our own choice, but when we run out of ideas there are reference books and a store of images for individuals to work from. We usually stop after about one and a half hours for a cup of tea and a chat.
